BJR Summer Update
This summer has been a blast for the Boston Junior Rangers! Around the rink we have seen many new and familiar faces at the Will O’Neill Summer Skills sessions. Coach O’Neill has put together an amazing program that challenges players in new ways. Each session the players are developing their game to a higher level all while having fun. The Boston Junior Rangers are ecstatic to continue the relationship with Will O’Neill into the 2023-2024 season as our Skills Director. Aside from summer skills, Breakaway Ice Center has been buzzing with improvements! Here are a few off the top of the list: new gym facility for off-ice sessions, new synthetic ice facility for goalie training (available to rent for skating and shooting training), freshly cleaned boards in both rinks, recently painted walls throughout the whole facility, and more! This past weekend, the Boston Junior Rangers attended the second annual BIC Field Day. Every team in the organization had the opportunity to skate this weekend and get some team building in before the season. There was also an ice cream truck provided by the rink to make the day that much sweeter! Families were able to meet each other, and explore all of the improvements around the rink. All in all, this summer is going great for the Boston Junior Rangers! We cannot wait to see you all back at the rink on Monday August 28th for the first official practice of the season. #RollRangers
