November Update
The Rangers are on a hot streak! The organization tallied 22 wins, 3 ties, and a few losses for November. Below are the tournaments our teams played in this month:
2012: CAN/AM Lake Placid Tournament
Made it to the Bronze Medal game
Stand-out plays: The 2012s represented the BJR Program at the CAN/AM Tourney in Lake Placid! What a special place! The team had a blast playing hockey, knee hockey at the hotel, swimming in the pool & polar plunge in the lake, and many more activities! Great bonding experience for this group! We started the tournament off slow but really came together and ended up in the Bronze medal game vs the Bay State Breakers Platinum team. We battled them all game and outplayed them throughout but ended up losing the game 2-1. All the coaches are very proud of this group for how they came together in the end! We are looking to carry this momentum through the rest of our season.
2015: Waterville Valley White Mountain ShootOut Tournament
The 2015s traveled up to Waterville for the White Mountain shootout with a schedule full of EHF teams. The first game was the most complete of the tournament where they wouldn’t give an inch of ice and frustrated a very talented Top Gun team. They took home a 5-1 win with two goals each from Sammy Morrison and Ben Plazek. In game two, the Terriers came out flying and went up 5-0, but the 2015s didn’t give up and came back with 6 unanswered goals to take the W. In game three, it was a 36-minute battle of will against a strong puck-moving Islanders squad and we came up short. MVP of the Tournament goes to Solly Tash who played like an absolute madman in net, setting the standard of play every game. Coaches were extremely proud of the squad with their on-ice and off-ice bonding.
The 2011’s are competing at an extremely high level with 15 wins and only 1 loss. Way to go boys!!
Looking forward to another strong performance from the Rangers organization as we enter the start of the Winter schedule! #RollRangers
