The Boston Junior Rangers are off to a strong start this summer, with our Summer Skills in full swing and players showing up ready to compete, learn, and grow every day.

Our experienced coaching staff continues to lead high-tempo, skill-focused sessions designed to push players to the next level — and one of the key figures behind that development is coach Will O’Neill.

A former professional defenseman with experience in both the AHL and NHL, Will brings elite-level insight and leadership to the ice. Will’s experience, teaching ability, and competitive presence have made him a cornerstone of our program’s development success.

Throughout the summer, our players have been working hard in structured skills sessions that emphasize skating, puck control, game awareness, and compete level — all while having fun. Many are also representing the BJR at summer showcases and tournaments across the region, gaining valuable game experience and exposure.

We’re proud of the dedication and progress we’ve seen so far and are excited to keep building momentum as we head toward the upcoming season.
