Taylor Morrison Named 2017 Coach
Congratulations to Taylor Morrison on being named head coach of the Mites 2017 team!
Taylor a native of Lynnfield, MA began his hockey career late by today’s standards, it wasn’t until 4th grade that he laced up his first pair of skates. Competing throughout the North Shore and Greater Massachusetts as a youth player, he then went on to play four years at Lynnfield High School before being recruited to play Division II hockey locally at Stonehill College.
After graduating and his playing days were over Taylor immediately jumped into the development of aspiring young hockey players and served as the Executive Director of Player Development for Lynnfield Hockey. Additionally, Taylor was involved in the development and coached the Lynnfield High School team for several seasons.
Currently, Taylor is the head coach of our 2013 BJR team. Taylor is a Level III certified coach with USA Hockey and has been coaching at the youth level for over 20 years. He resides in nearby North Reading, MA where he stays busy getting his three boys to and from the rink most, if not all days!
